Sunil Chothi

Sunil Chothi (BA. (Hons) MSC PGCE)  is a highly qualified and experienced professional with significant expertise in the field of Special Educational Needs.  He has worked across 10 Local Authorities within SEN departments for over 16 years.

Sunil Chothi is an Independent SEN Advocate who has worked within SEN for over 16 years with Local Authorities, schools and parents. He has successfully helped parents to secure EHC assessments, EHC plans, private therapy provision, ABA Home Programmes, Independent Special Schools and challenge SEN exclusions.

 

Sunil comes from a strong Senior Local Authority background, has a sound knowledge of SEN Law and has extensive tribunal experience. This background has given him an advantage when advocating for SEN families.

 

He also works in partnership with several SEN charity groups where he has conducted popular workshops / coffee mornings, webinars, informing parents how to navigate through the SEN maze and secure the right educational provision for their child. 

Sunil’s unique background for working for Local Authorities at a very senior level, positions him to support parents very effectively to navigate the EHC process, resolve disputes and secure the right provision for their child.

SENSAS provides SEN families an alternative option to the costly legal representation available.

Sunil, primarily provides advocacy services to parents but on occasion, acts as a SEND Consultant for schools, a SEN Expert at Independent Review Panels, Local Authority SEN Consultant, SEND Law training for various public, charity and voluntary organisations.
