Sunil Chothi (BA. (Hons) MSC PGCE) is a highly qualified and experienced professional with significant expertise in the field of Special Educational Needs. He has worked across 10 Local Authorities within SEN departments for over 14 years. Previous assignments and roles include Head of SEN, Deputy Head SEN manager, SEN Consultant, Joint Senior SEN Case Manager across 2 Local Authorities who merged their SEN Teams, Statement Monitoring Officer and an Education Officer for SEN.
He also works as an Advisory SENCO for a Primary School, where he supports children and families and has several years teaching experience.
He is now using his experience to support and navigate families and young people across the EHC process, ensuring they receive the best outcomes and support they are entitled to.
He has sound legal knowledge relating to pupils with SEN and able to provide strong advocacy on behalf of families who need support, including representation at tribunals. He provides an alternative to the costly legal advocacy available and with the same results.
Sunil’s unique experience of working in the Local Authority at a very senior level, positions him to support parents very effectively.
